Thanks Kate. Consumer Reports usually has it's act together and makes sense.  
Of course it woulda been nice to have had the warranty a month and a half ago 
when I shelled out $1600 to rebuild the tranny.  But now the tranny has a 
nice 1-year warranty. 8^)
