I have one like that, and it won't fit onto or between  the ittty bitty 
springs enough to work. Better one would be the overhead cam type that 
you can wedge under the rocker shaft and lever them down. Compressed air 
fitting in the sparking plug hole will hold the vave shut while working 
on it. Maunal says you can use a bent piece of heavy wire.  Ended up 
pulling the head to do mine.
