The strap cost me all of $5. Your rotor probably cost you $40.
If you want to talk theory, your chains will wear out, too. In my lifetime?
Of course not. Friction has never stopped working for me yet and I don't
expect that law to get repealed any time soon. As I said before, when I have
used a "rotor" it has been on V8 engines, thus, four chains. I did borrow a
rotor the first time I pulled a 1275, but I like the strap better. By all
means use your rotor, but I will stick with my strap.
