I am in the process of installing a G13b suzuki dohc engine into a spridget.
I have found the site: http://www.ado13.com/dohczuke/dohc.htm very helpful
indeed, however the author does not have his email anywhere on his site (and
I have had quite a good look).
I was just wondering if anyone knows who this is and what his/her email may
be as I am very interested to hear if they have made any further progress
and worked around a few of the fundamental problems associated with the
swap, that I am contemplating how to tackle at the moment and would
appreciate any insight.
Also if anyone knows of any other Suzuki G13B swaps or any other FWD jap
motor to RWD spridget configuration swaps that would be great.
A few of the interesting issues are:
- coolant exits through pipe at back of the block.
- non-symetrical sump
- general tight fit of efi manifold (that I would like to maintain, if
possible, as it provides a level of performance, economy and reliability
that no carb can reproduce)
- transmission options
- hydraulic clutch conversion of suzuki samurai/vitari 5spd rwd box that
orginally comes with cable operated setup.
and a few more that I am sure I have forgotten to mention
