Well....I don't know Big Healeys, but...

(and with no offense intended, I would guess.....
..BN1 would be the early model, and BN 2 would be a later model. Maybe
the former
had the 3 speed box and the later a 4
speed, etc.

Sorta like Sprite and Midgets in terms
of Mk's 1,2,3 & 4.

You see, Lester, you gotta get books on
the model car you are interested in to become familiar with what the
catalogs are trying to tell you.....:):):)
