Are you sure it says 140wt grease and
not 140wt (gear) oil?

"Early" racks used heavy oil, "later" racks
used grease. Of course, you can use grease (same as you lubricate the
other
points with) anyway but, it will be a bear
to steer in colder temperatures.

Is "the book" compatible with the year
car? I cannot recall when they changed
over to the "later" racks. Anyone else...?
