Dan...
Cardboard in front of the radiator? In
a situation as described?
Daniel, do you really feel
an "aspirin for a headache" approach to be such a good idea in this
particular situation. 'Cause It doesn't cure
the problem, it simply addresses the
symptoms (sorta like Bush's "illegal
amnesty" plan! Oops..sorry..wrong list!:)
Frozen nads are bad enough however,
NOT solving the problem at it's source
can result in expensive engine damage
and/or substantially reduced service life
over time through running too hot, OR
too cold.
So, I strongly suggest my fellow NJ lister
with the frozen ahhh...lower extremities..
SOLVE THE PROBLEM at it's source.
For in accordance with my experience,
a cooling system properly winterized and
in satisfactory condition is more than
capable of putting out scads of heat at
temperatures well below 20F...at least
in all the LBC's and other types I've driven and owned for many moons!
:)
