I made one for my 1500 and, if it is similar, it was very easy. There's plenty
of clearance so it doesn't have to be perfect, but I made the mistake on the
first one of measuring the size, and the distance between holes, then centering
the holes vertically. This was a pity, as more of the fuel pump hole is below
the bolt holes than above, so I ended up with extra on top and insufficient
coverage on the bottom. But even with making an entire second plate I was into
the project about 15 min. one other hint note your studs probably have a
smooth portion near the block. Use a thick enough piece of metal or enough
washers that you're able to make the plate tight while you still have threads.
The end of the threads can feel like a tight plate when it's not sealing yet.
