Kent I really enjoyed that... and totally agree... Real car guys don't have
an attitude about any car... they simply enjoy the quality of work
associated with the car...
I can honestly look at any car and appreciate the craftsmanship or
cleanliness of it... it doesn't have to be a high dollar car either... it's
just got to be something someone honestly cares about... I remember years
ago seeing a very cool small block stuffed in a hundred... what was neat
about the car is that it was totally hammered... dents and rust everywhere
but when you actually got to looking at the car the fella had it
exceptionally clean... and the structure was painted where he'd rebuilt the
frame when he stuffed the motor in... He was Driving it while he restored
the car around his new drive train.... The car had Zero dirt, grease, or
paint work.. It was fun to admire his work and see the pride in his eyes as
he showed it to me..

Keith ( first thing I learned as a mechanic in an Indian motorcycle shop was
to wash something before I worked on it... the old man I worked for asked me
if I took a bath before I went to the doctor... and then explained that I'd
wash everything he worked on First.... point made and taken... oh and lived
with it for the last 30 yrs.. the man was right )
