Hi - In light of the recent snapped axle discussion, I would like to ask those
using LSD :o to recommend or not a unit they have experience with. I'm lucky to
have whole axles after some of the wheel hopping episodes I've subjected my
Midget to...
For example, there's the Trans-X "Salibury clutch type", and the Phantom Grip
at 1/3 the cost. The Trans-Ex has multiple adjustability, but the cost
difference suggests there may be some other benefit over the Phantom Grip.
Smoothness? Locking torque? Maintenance? Reliability?
