Hi, Jim....
Hey...it's new, it's failed within the warranty period, take it
back....the warranty period is there exactly to cover
this sort of failure.
Something wrong internally, Jim. Probably
a "manufacturing" or "re-manufacturing"
defect and since it's got to go to a pro for
repair (no way to replace the conducting "medium" within the tube in the
field,
fr'instance) in any event, a replacement
seems the way to go.
