I just did some checking. My "bugeye" has a 1500 Brake assembly Moss part
number 141-720. I can live with that, there is a ton of non original stuff
here. Like the Lockheed dual master cylinder. Or the three air horns which
makes the car sound like an 18 wheeler.
It is curious that the brake switch is stuck in the "closed" position. Is the
switch on the assembly intended to operate the brake lights? Or is this a
brake failure warning light? Moss shows another brake light switch for a
1500.
Any hope on just screwing in an earlier brake switch into this assembly?
Just don't want to start messing with the hydraulics until I have the right
stuff on hand.
