BTW, the Gulf Porsche 917 that Steve McQueen drove in that movie is in
Redlands, California right now having a new custom wiring harness
installed so the owner can go vintage racing in Europe. I seen the car a few
days ago at a shop next to my motorcycle mechanic's place.
My mechanic told me that the owner paid 1.4 million for it! A little out of my
league.
