I bought a $3.69 tub of old time stove cement and repaired a significant
crack in my manifold. I first kneaded the stuff till it was clay-like, then
forced it into and around the crack. After it dried it looked like a dark
gray concrete, and it seemed to get harder after running the engine and
heating it up via the manifold heat.
