You didn't miss much in the previous post. It was a long time ago and it
was only mentioned.
I don't know anything about the differences /similarities between the GT6
and the Spit. Well, I think that I know that the GT6 was a hardtop with a
six cylinder. I thought that it was to the Spit what the MGB GT was to the
MGB?
Anyway, all I can tell you about this one, is that it is referred to as a
GT6; it does have a six mated to a Volvo P1800 gearbox; and that the work
was done by a local Brit car guy turned metal bender with a long reputation.
The current owner may have said something about the fuel filler, but I
really don't remember. It does use a spit convertible top.
