Hello listers,
i once read someone who thought they had the BEST way to
teach someone to drive with clutch. i used it with my
nephew and it works quite well. ..
take them to a large empty parking lot.
have them get the car moving WITHOUT allowing them to
use the gas pedal. none at all. only after they can do
that consistently and smoothly should they be allowed
              to actually shift gears.
what they learn is a "feel" for the clutch. where it
lets out, how much it slips, and how much it doesn't.
Best regards,
 Bill mailto:pythias@pacifier.com
