I'm running a stock lightened flywheel. No problems with it and I don't think
the aluminum one is a whole lot lighter, maybe a pound or so. Some aluminum
type have a steel insert for the clutch surface to ride on and others have some
sort of coating on the flywheel. I suppose the steel insert ones are a bit
heavier.
I just handed my flywheel over to my machinist and told him to lighten it up.
The final product looks great. Sorry, no blueprints.
