Got a goodie, well it certainly has me perplexed anyway.
Last Sunday after the PA Rallye, when I got home the Midget refused to shut
off. When I turn the key to the off position the accessories go off, but not
the engine. I can pull the key and it still runs. I had thought it was the
switch, but Kevin sent me the electrical part and it did not help. In
addition the tail lamps still light, rear lamps and side markers. Even with
the ignition switch completely out of the circuit it is the same. I suspect
the front markers would do the same except I have them disconnected as there
is a short in the wire. This may be a contributory factor. I had stuck a 40
AMP circuit breaker in that circuit to get home. Looking at the wiring
diagram the only common place for these wiring circuits to come together is
the fuse block. I did a brief visual inspection but did not really test it.
I was at it for a while today and it got to friggin hot to be out there.
Any clues, thoughts, suggestions??
