Last night I installed a new fuel tank. I put in 2 1/2 gallons of fuel
and the gauge slowly went to "F". So I went and finished filling it and it
now indicates VERY full with the needle fully deflected as far as it will
go. The gauge worked fine before. My guess would maybe be a
grounding problem. I did a really nice job of painting the tank with a
rubber based paint before install.
Any suggestions?
