I've been playing with aligning the seat mounting holes in my Midget for
about an hour now. I'm adapting MGB seats to my car. As I was trying to
find the best way to put a clean hole in my carpet it dawned on me that I
could install the carpet and then use a pencil type soldering iron from the
bottom side of the floor and push it up through the hole, melting its way
through the carpet and leaving a nice clean hole. What I now have are 4
perfectly aligned clean holes for mounting my seat bolts in. I'm sure you
seasoned spridgeters already figured this out but for this newbie it was
eureka!
