Do not know about the Mallory Electronic
dizzy but have used both PerTronix and
Crane ("700" & "3000") systems with
excellent results. The only times I have
had either of these systems fail were due
to installation errors.
Also, follow the manufacturer's advice
on types of ignition coils to be used with
any installation; this is important as the
installation can fail if used or "matched"
with improper components (e.g. Bosch
as a super coil which cannot be used
with electronic ignitions, etc.).
