I ordered a pair of ram stacks from APT, they are designed to slide into the
throat of the carb. Well I pulled my velocity stack and it is about 2"
long. Right at 1.5" too long. I've looked at pictures of what APT sells
and they are about 1/2" judging by the size of the pic. Question is, is
there 2 different lengths of venturi's? Can I cut my venturi length down
and install my ram pipe and still be succesful or would it be better to just
buy 2 more venturi's? I like to keep it cheap but still work. BTW, this is
on a DCOE 40 model 1B
