Well, a visual inspection shows
copper inserts around water and oil galleries (inc. pushrod holes), steel
inserts around
the bores.
There is "1275" along one end, and "BL 140" (or was that BK 140?) stamped
somewhere
in the middle.
I'd guess that it is silicon coated judging by the feel (thickness, flex).
