With the current type of virus, you are at least as likely, and probably
more likely, to get a virus from somebody you do know, since they use your
address book to decide who to mail it to. The safest thing is to not open
any attachment unless you were already expecting it, and the extension
matches the type of file you are expecting. While running a virus program
with up-to-date signatures, of course.
