Ordered all the necessary hoses for my 76 Midget's radiator from Moss and
guess what! None of them fit. My radiator isn't what the book calls for
apparently. What do I do now?
We have no idea how I wound up with a different radiator when I bought the car
practically new (1 year old) and only had it worked on one time for anything
major and that was in Germany, but there was no problem with the radiator at
that time. HELP!
I am getting really frustrated trying to get my car back on the road. One of
the mechanics told me yesterday "you know, I am charging you labor charges for
all the time I spend on the phone talking to these people at Moss trying to
get these parts." Then he says (he has had my car since July 29th)
"If you had let me go ahead and order parts on my own we would be farther
ahead now. - No, you had to try to get them cheaper!" I really hate these
guys but they are all I have.
Then, he says, "even if I can find the right hoses, etc., I now have two other
engines to rebuild before I will even get to your car."
Oh well, nothing I did yesterday was right so I really can't expect my trip to
the garage to turn out any better, I suppose.
What do you all think about the radiator?? Ever hear of this??
