Whoa,

Thats pretty steep for a used tranny with unknown condition. I just got one
locally for $85 and shipped it to RI for $52. I frequent this particular
Pick and Pull and see the Datsun 5-sp boxes from time to time. They have a
very high turnover rate. I wouldn't mind helping out a lister from time to
time but would not like to make a business of it. If you are desperate for
one, e-mail me and I'll keep an eye out. There are other listers in this
area who might be willing to do this as well (Crash?). I'd rather not work
that hard myself. When I see one with the motor already out like the last
one, I'll post it to the list. If the motor is still in, you'll need to
negotiate a trade of a Sprite or Morris bit to inspire me to sweat on your
behalf.

Current needs are:
radio console to fit bugeye, Morris Minor front bumper blade, clear glass
front turn lenses(bugeye), 1275 harmonic balancer pulley. Heck, for a
harmonic balancer in good shape I'll scour the yard this weekend and even
wipe the grease off the gearbox before shipping.

Regards,
Glen Byrns
