A while back we had a short discussion about whether the vacuum advance is needed with electronic timing, such as the Crane XR700, which is what I have. After a few replies back and forth, I pulled the vacuum advance tube and plugged it with a nail just to see what would happen. By jove, I think it runs better without it. --David C. |
