MGB Brakes on a Spridget

Folks,

John Holliday's for sale posting mentioned MGB front brakes and Spitfire
rotors - I've heard of this mod but never gave it much thought.  Since I'm
planning on refreshing my front end and front brakes this winter, I'm
curious about this upgrade.  I assume it offers much more stopping power.
Is it hard to do or is it basically a bolt on conversion?  Is it worth the
effort on a stock Sprite that isn't raced?
