Hmmm....I've got an F150 (4x4) and when it got 40-50,000 miles on it, the 
front suspension that is factory riveted to the frame started "clicking" on 
stops, starts, and turns.  The local service department said the factory had 
a fix (obviously not covered under the extended warranty) where they drill 
out the rivets, and replace them with Grade 8 bolts and nuts.
The mileage is well over 100k now and everything is holding up...I think.
