Frank C. has more experience with this any anybody should! I can't imagine
how the mechanical switch could be a problem, as long as it isn't defective
and it is aligned and adjusted correctly. The in-line switches are prone to
leaking if you use the wrong brake fluid or buy one made in Asia. I would
take another look at the mechanical switch.
