Carb part description

I am semi-rebuliding(cleaning and replacing gaskets and seals) the HS-2
carbs on the 71 Midget.
The rubber seal between the float chamber and carb body needs replacing. The
only thing the M%^$ catalog shows is a front and rear adapter for 8.75 each
(35 bucks for 4 rubber seal, according to the sales person, the "front
adapter goes on the front carb and the rear adapter goes on the rear carb" -
sigh. My manuals don't show this piece at all. Are these the correct
parts?????
