I wish that was my problem.
Mine is in the head, deteriorated valve seals I hope.
Head off, new seals in, but I did not get the head back on.
I spent too much time on it tonight.
Oil change, loose intake, dent fixed where a leaf spring fell on the new
paint job, And of course the oil filter leaked not once but twice.
Turned out to be a double seal under it. PO, not me, I took the old seal
out. When I pulled the whole thing off the block I found the old-old
seal, probably installed at the factory. Oh yeah, lots of oil to clean
up too.
