When I replaced my windscreen, I took the entire screen off of the car and dissasembled the frame to install the new glass. It's a luxury to be able to do this on a spridget!! Much less risk of breaking the glass. This also lets you replace the seal that goes between the screen and the body. I had to drill out the screws holding the screen together because they were rusted. I replaced them with stainless hardware. -Curt Onstott |
