First of all, thank you everyone for all the great help that you have given.
This list is great!
I just finished my 1275 this evening, toped it off with a nice coat of green
paint. Next stop is the transmission. Is there a resource that I should
look for that would help me go through this trans, and spot the trouble
areas? Website, book etc ? I have a Hanes and a MG service manual, and
these have good diagrams and instructions. I'm looking for something that
says "be sure to check gear such and such for wear...and this is what the
wear looks like etc..."
I'd hate to just fill it with oil and hope it is ok, only to install it and
find out it isn't. For those wondering, I purchased this as a basket case
already disassembled, the PO had not driven it, only started the take down
process.
