Haynes says to use engine or light oil on the pedal bearings on a regular basis ( 3 mos. ). I'm tempted to use a lithium grease when I re-assemble them. ( soon ) Is there a reason to choose oil instead of grease? Is it because it doesn't require disassembly to re-lube if you use oil?
