POP QUIZ #1 - Clutch Problem

This had me stumped until 5 minutes ago. Let's see who else figures it
out.

1974 Midget
While driving.
Press clutch pedal.
Take foot off pedal.
Pedal returns 2"-3" higher than normal.
Pressing clutch pedal will barely disengage clutch.
