Hello list,
I am sorry to bomb the list with sort of the same question, but please
bear with a sort of dense fellow. ;-) I kind of have to have things
spelled out clearly for me!!!
What I want to know is, Has anyone on the list used the Isuzu starter on
a 1500 engine? I need a starter with higher torque than the original
lucas, and I have it from a very reputable and reliable source( read: Ed
at Justbrits) that the gear reduction starter from one of the major
suppliers, is not quite up to snuff!
So If anyone has used a different starter on a 1500, please email me
offlist. I have a newly rebuilt and slightly BUILT 1500, 10.5:1
compression, and the Lucas starters won't last but about a week!!!
