Hey guys....depending upon where you live, and how far you are from a
pipeline, or refinery, all, repeat all, ALL, of your gasoline most probably
comes from the same place.
It is ALL the same formula, and ...as is the case in El Paso, with a Chevron
refinery in town, and no other source withing several hundred miles, the
Exxon, Mobil, Shell, 66, et al...get their gas from the same place.
What about the additives? The various gasoline additives advertised are just
a copy writers name for one of the additives in ALL gasoline.
Good luck on having any effect at all on the major producers like Exxon, by
varying where you buy retail. Maybe if you were privy to where the stations
or wholesales were buying, and willing to drive far enough (like 400 miles
plus around here) and you could convince the majority of the population to do
so, you could influence the big guys. Not likely is it?
Buy from the cheapest, drive on, and influence what you can, like your
kids...HA!
