Mark, I have (except for last note) stayed outta dis. Futile. As one
Lister noted, for the most part, they ALWAYS continue to "DO". Torque, in
this application, is an (sorry) "UN.." factor as unless you are the worlds
most faultless engin..r (can't even say the word<G>) and perform ENDLESS
check on both KO and Extension, you will have FOUR different "required" #s.

Then add the fact of having EXACTLY the same amount of either Anti Seize
(which I prefer) or a petroleum based grease on EACH extension.

Ain't gonna happen.

As Fred C. (I think) said Lead Hammer or as someone else mentioned, "shot"
softfaced one.

Build motors, rebuild trannys, paint, etc.. That is "precesion". WW KOs
are not.

And, when all else fails, (sorry Listers - NOT)

KISS

Cheers...........

         Ed

PS: Hortense has dem der items and a lead hammer and over 60K miles with
about half going through the single lane roads of noth MD, most of WVA, VA,
PA, and a few other places. Dey just plain don't come off with normal
attention to detail.
