I have tried to restrain myself on this, but I have escaped.
Enough of this subversive Scout badmouthing. I have a 64 that sits in
a shed in "West By Gawd" (Almost Heaven) and is used in summers as a
farm work vehicle. A thundering 152cu in four cylinder engine, and
positraction ("TRAC-LOC") front and rear, with seriously knubby
"tars". A squirt of oil in each cylinder, a splash of gas in the
carb, and off it goes each spring. Even the rodents have not been
able to kill it yet. (Need to keep more range cats.) Once going, that
sucker will climb trees. If you don't want to climb the tree, wrap a
chain around the tree and rip that sucker out! Among other things I
use it to pull out Jeeps and ATVs that have foundered while
trespassing on the south 40.....this after much brandishing of large
bore, semi automatic weapons on my part. ( You're sort of allowed to
shoot people who trespass.....I think it's a misdemeanor.)
I will admit that the hydraulic clutch system is a bit LBC
like....plan on putting a kit in the master and slave each year.

OK, I think I covered the Big Three....LBC, cats and guns.......
Larry
