I have a 1976 Midget 1500 and it recently had a new 1:3.7 ratio back-axle diff fitted. It used to have a 1:3.9 ratio diff, so my speedo reads 30 mph when I'm doing 50! I've found that fitting a new speedo works out cheaper than calibrating the old one...but when I tried to order one, the store said I need a speedo number. Does anyone know what this no. is or how I can find out? Ben Wakefield 1976 Midget 1500 Sussex, UK. |
