Yes, as little as possible. I have been in contact
with the person who will do my state inspection
discussing several items and their interpretations. He
is working with me as much as possible; such as the
fuel cell located in the trunk. The State say fuel
tanks cannot be located within a compartment of the
car (passenger or trunk). I say how then do you allow
early VW Beetles to pass inspection. My inspector
recognizes that the fuel cell is a much safer system
regardless of where it is located.
