i neglected to add to my last fuel price posting that my friend jon who gets
to ride shotgun and ocasionally share driving duties on long hauls and i
keep discussing prices as we zoom past gas stations across america. what i
have dificulty in understanding is the broad spread in pricing. i realise
there are some taxes that i am unaware of and possibly some localities that
might command a premium for their deliveries? last fall i saw prices for
pump regular at self serve just under 2.00/gallon out in the mid west along
the interstate. how can some stations afford to market fuel for
1.22.9/gallon (which was a bp station at an I-95 interchange!) and others
are selling for so much more?
chuck.
hey! i wanna play i have to pay....so i do! but curious about the pricing?
not interested in a huge discussion on this topic, just thought i'd share my
confusion.......fuel for thought? lol! :)
