My opinion - use the archives for a detailed list of a thread when you
need the info. Other than Allen always telling people to look there
first. I prefer the discussion here. If I need a very deetailed bunch of
info and several opinions I look in the archives. Otherwise I just ask.
Almost nobody complains about the discussion coming off again. But in the
case of the insurance - that is the best place to look as there was a
lengthy discussion of it and a lot of differing opinions/suggestions. As
to most other topics, remember this is fluid list with lots of folks
coming and going. Rehashing a topic every so often is to the benefit of
the newcomers as well as sometimes somebody did not pay attention as they
were not interesed at the time but for what ever reason - now they are. I
stnd by my feeling to ask here first, last and always, otherwise if all
asked were in the archives - what is the use of an email list???
Sorry so long winded.
