OK, I was out cruisin' today, 92* and breezy, and I saw a &# for sale at
a car lot. I stopped and looked at it. It was originally a dark green
car (darker than BRG) and it is now a metallic brown that is in need of
a new coat. The car has numerous dings from, I am assuming, taller car
doors. The wiring that I can see in the trunk has had a nice treatment
of DPOism, although it looks not to irreparable, reached into the boot
area and the rear quarters are unrusted and no bondo that I can feel.
The "A" pillars look as though someone let the doors fly open to far,
both sides. The interior is rough, someone has burned part of the
passenger seat close to the tranny tunnel, interior color was originally
Ochre but the doors have black caps and a black carpeted panel. All the
original gauges are there but I didn't have him start the car to see
how/if they work. The under bonnet is pretty complete, half assed job of
pulling the smog equipment though. There seems to be a leak around the
valve cover gasket. The top looks new but they don't have the rubber
surround or the chrome strip that holds the top across the back ( I
believe I have these items that I would give to any lister who may want
to buy this car). I was surprised at the price of this car, $1500, It is
not a bad looking car from a distance. I know that it is way out of the
price range that Frank would pay but if any lister in Texas is
interested in more information they have a toll free # 1-888-595-7170. I
can try to get some photos if someone farther away is interested in it.
Can't think of anything else to add at this time but will be glad to
look further should there be any interest. ....... no financial interest
.........for those with inquiring minds and all that crap..............
