You are not alone. I did this a few months ago. I just soldered it back
and it works. Clean it inside and out with emory cloth, use pipe solder
(50/50 worked for me) and flux. flux it up good, tin the nipple, tin the
radiator hole, heat the radiator and have a steady handed assitant hold
(with pliers) the nipple in place as you heat the radiator and solder it
back.
Be careful not to fill the rad with solder. The toughest part is the
nipple wants to fall in the hole thus the assistant.
