Rex: Buy the car when the car is there. Keep looking and they will pop out
at you from nowhere! Almost every Spridgethead on the list can tell you of
eerie sightings of LBCs when they were least expected. Sometimes, when I am
just driving down the road minding my own business, one calls out to me form
some hidden crevice that I formerly would never have noticed. Just keep on
truckin'! Don't pass up a good one just because you want to be slow and
deliberate, and don't wait to find that Concours Spridget for 1000
bucks--the
one you buy is gonna have some warts. >>

It's true! In less than two years, since I joined this list, I have had
three cars offered to me for free! If I only had the room! :-( I still
wish I could buy the Triumph GT6 that a friend has for sale...CHEEP! (No
comments about TRs please!)
Look at as many cars as you can. Please let us know where you are located
(city and state) and there is probably a lister who will be happy to look at
a car with you and give you some advice.
Or join a local Brit Car club. They are everywhere (except some parts of the
plains states, but we won't go there) and the members are very helpful.
