I drove in all the way from Texas! I think I got in the most one and a half
lane road of all of you though. After following Detour Dave (OK, OK, I know
Dave, it was a shortcut...) for about 30 miles, I had at least another 30
miles of winding hillside roads before I finally found my way to route 29.
When I finally hit a gas station in St Helena (I think), the guy told me it
was just a little ways more to the 4 way stop and the next intersection was
route 29... hell, I thought he meant a few blocks... it was at least
another 5 miles!
Well, the kids had a blast... besides telling me, I knew it because I spent
very little time in whine country. They want to do it again next weekend...

MGB and a red MGA between you and us (mostly the 'B) I sure wasn't envious
of you topless guys on those dusty back roads though!
