I don't have a Web site yet with pictutres of my cars, but my ' 67 Midget
vintage racer appeared in two publications this month.
Grassroots Motorsports Magazine featured the car in its "Your Cars" column
with text I submitted. April 2000 issue, on page 146.
Vintage Motorsports Magazine showed my car in the coverage of the Vintage
Drivers Club of America event at Roebling Road (Savannah) last December.
March/April issue 2000/2 on page 60.
VDCA is a great event promoter and I encourage anyone interested in seeing
some fantastic vintage cars to come out and watch. Check their web page at
www.vintagedrive.com.
At the event last weekend at Carolina Motorsports Park, there were cars
like D-Jag, Birdcage Maserati, Porsche RSK, Mini Pick-up (all brought and
raced by one guy), a Siata, a Devin-Ermini, two Lotus Elites, Honda S800,
Wolsely Hornet, XK120, Morgan 4/4, etc. This group may have fewer cars
entered than other groups, but those that are seem to be more unusual and
certainly more original.
