Ottawa has 'transit ways' and expressways for taxis and buses and emergency
vehicles only, making them faster than fighting the traffic during peak
hours. ( but I don't use them for other reasons, though I have and will. )
We also have park-and-ride for the suburbanites who want to not heat up
their car before shutting it off.
